Sledding

  • Next to the ski slope, between Zeleni rob and the top station of the cable car, is located a well prepared sledding trail, which is opened every day and during the hours of night sledding for the groups who make previous appointment.

    The part of the trail which is directly connected with the ski slope is intended for the use of sledding fans during daytime. The mountain also offers terrain outside the ski trails, which is appropriate for various activities in the snow, mostly for the families.

  • Night sledding takes place on the well prepared and illuminated sledding trail every Thursday,Friday and Saturday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The cable car takes the sledding fans up on the mountain at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

    The trail is located next to the double seat lift Šimnovec and is appropriately prepared and illuminated. The visitors are taken to the beginning of the trail by the double seat lift, which operates the whole time during the sledding hours and therefore enables 6 to 8 descents. The return to the valley is possible by the cable car at 8 p.m.

    The lodging house Zeleni rob is located next to the sledding starting point and is also opened during the hours of night sledding.

  • Sled renting

    It is possible to rent a sled in the premises of the ski school Label next to the top station of the cable car. We recommend previous reservation on the phone number: +386 (0)41 200 743.
    The renting price is 8 EUR.

    We recommend our visitors to wear warm and appropriate clothes and shoes and to bring a cap lamp. Sledding is cancelled in the case of bad weather, therefore, we suggest that you obtain preliminary information about conditions on Velika planina on the phone number: +386 (0)1 832 72 58.
