Due to its varied terrain and friendly atmosphere, it has been a popular choice for families seeking a skiing experience near Ljubljana for many years.<\/p>\n

A key addition in 2023 is the modern six-seat chairlift, which takes you from \u0160imnovec to the top of the mountain in just five minutes, providing a quick and comfortable route to the excellently groomed slopes. This season, the Jur\u010dek drag lift and a conveyor belt for beginners and young skiers will also be in operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to skiing activities, the resort offers much more. Near the Jur\u010dek lift, you’ll find an adventure park and a resting area where visitors can relax and enjoy the stunning winter views. During the winter holidays, Velika Planina also hosts a ski school<\/strong> offering a wide range of programs, including private lessons, weekend courses, and sessions during the Christmas and New Year holidays.<\/p>\n

For further relaxation, you can enjoy a warm drink or a quick snack at the Skodla<\/strong> refreshment hut, while the Zeleni Rob<\/strong> restaurant, located near the \u0160imnovec chairlift exit, offers delicious homemade dishes.<\/p>\n

Outside of the winter holidays, school groups<\/strong> can rent the slopes near the Jur\u010dek<\/strong> lift on Mondays and Tuesdays.
