Traditional events

Numerous events contribute to the variegation of the activities during the summer time. They are colourful in content and therefore intended for the visitors of all ages and preferences.

We recommend the visit of some traditional events during the summer time:

  • June:

    • the mountain cycling marathon Velika planina - Terme Snovik (June 25th 2008)

  • July:

    • the traditional competition of accordionists (July 26th 2008)

  • August:

    • the holiday of Snow Mary (August 5th)
    • the herdsmen’s holiday (the second weekend in August)
    • the Ascension of Mary (August 15th)

  • October:

    • the cottager’s goulash (the first Saturday in October, organised by PD Bajtar)
