If winter hasn’t delivered enough snow for skiing or sledding this year, it doesn’t mean the winter season is over. Velika Planina is offering a special promotion “WINTER YOUR WAY – No Skis, Just Views”, designed for unforgettable mountain experiences even when there isn’t enough snow for traditional winter sports.
Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks, crisp mountain air, scenic hiking trails and warm moments in cozy mountain huts. For children, there is usually still enough snow for their first sledding adventures – sleds can be rented at the upper cable car station.

TASTE OF VELIKA PLANINA
Gostilna Zeleni Rob is open every day, serving traditional local dishes:
barley stew, sauerkraut soup, sausage, sour cabbage, buckwheat spoonbread, sweet dumplings and more.
On weekends (Friday–Sunday), Skodla at the upper cable car station is also open, offering hot dogs, sandwiches, platters, pancakes and winter drinks.
