Dear visitors who are going to Velika planina these days, we would like to inform you that about 30 cm of snow has fallen on the mountain, and in certain parts there is even more due to the strong wind that creates drifts.
The easiest and safest access in these conditions is with the cablecar and chairlift, which operates according to the timetable. We advise everyone to wear warm winter clothes and waterproof shoes and leggings.
Access to the parking lot under Velika planina: The road is plowed and maintained from Kranjski Raka to the Rakove vrani parking lot. Winter equipment is mandatory for vehicles. Given that it will continue to snow all day today, we will often finalize and serve until the evening hours today. The road to Ušivac and further to the Mačkin parking lot is currently impassable due to winter conditions.
